Mobile Technology You Need For 2013

2013 sees the emergence of one of the biggest years that the tech industry will have ever seen. From Microsoft to Apple, every company is set to make waves once the New Year’s Eve fireworks explode the world into the New Year.

2013 - top

If you’ve been holding out from upgrading your mobile gadgets, stop – 2013 is the year that you want to make the leap of faith. Here are some pieces of mobile technology to add to your “want” list next year – we take no responsibility for how much money you spend!

Microsoft Surface

With Windows 8, Microsoft took a big gamble – they bet on the future of touch screen technology. The tech giant’s new operating system is designed for intuitive, hands-on experience, syndicated across tablets, phones, entertainment units, laptops, and desktops. Set for release in early 2013, Microsoft Surface is a tablet designed to compete with the Apple iPad. With a case that doubles as a keyboard, a kickstand for practicality and with a super sleek design in a range of colours, when Surface surfaces, it’s sure to make a splash.

Nintendo 3DS

Although the 3DS was released in 2011, this console is still going strong into the New Year. With a range of fantastic games including the beloved Mario, Zelda, Professor Layton and Pokemon, this Nintendo console will keep you entertained on buses, trains, planes, and at home when you’re bored with nothing else to do. At less than $200, the Nintendo 3DS is a solid investment into your leisure time – the fact that you don’t need glasses to play is just a bonus!

Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia may have gone on hiatus for a while, but this phone developer is back and better than ever with its 2013 Windows phone, the Nokia Lumia 920. Featuring an 8.7 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, a wireless charging plate, Nokia City View and a polycarbonate case, this phone is definitely going to be a hit with consumers in the New Year.

HP ElitePad 900

While the Surface is designed more for fun, personal use, the ElitePad has one purpose and one purpose only: to help you achieve your business goals. Weighing in at 1.5lbs, the ElitePad boasts a whopping 64GB of storage so you can easily carry it around to show to different clients. If you ever need more storage, you can always store additional data and information with a provider like Macquarie Telecom or on Microsoft’s own SkyDrive – and with your growing client base, you might just need it!

I think I have to fix our budget to accommodate a Nintendo 3DS, the kids have been telling me about it for quite some time.

I have been a Nokia lover, since eons. And trust me, I would have been the most enthusiastic of the lot waiting for Nokia Lumia 920. It has released. The only dampener in the spirits is it\’s high price. Features

Out of everything that I thought would fail the 3DS has by far suprised me the most, To me it’s just another gimmick but it’s sales speak otherwise.

I recently brought my dad a new laptop with windows 8 and hated it but after a little play I can see that once your used to it it’s far superior to windows 7.
