Those days are long gone when mobile phones were used only as a mode of communication. Now your mobile phone can act like your mini-computer and be the most multifunctional device ever created on earth.
Now, mobile phones can be used for emailing, writing blogs, browsing social media, accessing cloud-based professional apps and much more. But with so many things on such a small device, the deteriorating life of its battery is not a surprise.
Android phones are the phones of the new age as they are bundled with the latest technology and innovations. But even such an advanced mobile phone is not an exception when it comes to the deteriorating battery life. And therefore, in this blog post, we will be looking at a few tips that can help you to extend the battery life of your Android’s phone.
Use the power saving mode
If you are on the go and find that your phone battery is low with no options to charge it, then you can swipe downward from the top of your screen and tap on the power saving mode. This mode will allow you to perform only three functions send messages, call and access your contact list. Your data connectivity and other functions will be turned off in order to save the battery. In some Android phones, this mode is also known as the Ultra Battery mode.
Don’t go fancy with your wallpapers
Animated and live wallpapers may make your mobile look amazing, but such wallpapers also consume a lot of your battery power. Instead of going for fancy and animated wallpapers for your background and lock screen, always go for a simple image. And if you want to go one step further, then you can use black and white wallpaper as it consumes a very minimal amount of your battery.
Find the battery consuming apps
Many people have this habit of opening an app and then forgetting it to close. Such apps keep running in the background and keep consuming a lot of your battery life. You should always close any app running in the background and you should also look for apps which are consuming the most of your battery life. Some Android phones have an inbuilt feature to detect such apps or you can download an app for serving the same purpose.
Stop the vibrating motor
Another power consuming thing on your Android phone is the vibrating motor. The electric motors which are fitted inside your mobile have a lot of issues with power consumption as they create motion against friction which results in wastage of energy in the form of heat. If you are not in a very serious need of the vibrating motor, then you should always turn it off.
Maintain the temperature
Do you know that the temperature of your Android mobile also affects its battery life? You should always keep a check on the temperature of your mobile phone, keeping it away from getting too hot or too cold.
If it will be in a very cold condition then the battery’s internal resistance to electricity flow will increase and it will decrease its capacity. While, if you will allow it to get too hot then the battery will break.
Deteriorating battery condition is very common in the mobile phones of the current era but with the right practice, you can keep your phone alive for even longer hours. So, follow the above-mentioned tips and extend the battery life of your Android phone.
