Any time my computer has slowed was in may cases viruses. As of 2011, I have seen a couple come through that the VPS missed the first go around.
Eventually, we had to dig it out of the registry manually.
That was irritating. Time for a mac???

I used to reformat all of my machines from desktop to all our laptops because of viruses. That’s the biggest hassle for me especially that I need to have a better machine for my online work.

Yes, I’ve already learned my lesson! As soon as I completed my reformatting last time, I made sure that I already installed my anti-virus before searching or downloading for more items I need.

If we want our PC to function smoothly we should take care of it and be very informative about how to protect it. Also, since most of us remain actively connected to the internet we should often scan the system for virus and install antivirus to protect the system from virus attacks.

Mostly people just purchase the system and thinks that it will go with him for the rest of their life however you know the speed of internet is going high and high and it is very important to have same processor and Ram for such speed. upgrading ram and processor will always keeps your computer faster and faster. sometimes viruses also slows down your PC so its important to have a best antivirus for your computer.

Yeah, a slow computer can be very demotivational.
I installed Tuneup utilities 2011 the day before yesterday and my pc is going so much faster now.
It really helps to clean it up and get rid the problems.

My computer has recently been freezing. I used a registry cleaner and it stopped for awhile. After about 2-3 weeks, the computer started to freeze again. I cleaned the registry once again and it had errors in it. Does anyone understand why I keep getting registry errors? Is there anyway to fix this? Should I just install windows again?

One of the key reasons your computer may be running slow is a cluttered up hard disk and defragmenting the hard disk helps speed up your pc.
My PC at least seems to suddenly boost up in speed more every time I do a defrag.

I use cleaners/utilities to help keep my PC clean, and it’s been the best way for me. I’m not very good with computers, so when I try DIY fixes, I usually make things worse for myself. The last time my PC was running really slowly I used some computer optimization software, and it did the trick.

I have had some issues lately with my computer running slow. You suggested some great tips and advice. I cleaned out my files on my hard drive, ran the disk defragmenter, cleaned my registry, updated my antivirus software, and disabled unwanted background programs. After all this, my computer is running quicker.
