That really is a great thing if applicable everywhere. Most of the telecom operators are now coming up with such an offer to make the most of the popularity of whatsapp. I would love to see it with every phone.

Hi Raj,
While other companies increased their charges and reduce the limit of
data, Reliance and Tata Docomo provided the best plans. What’s more
interesting to see it how would major telecom players react to this?
We would also love if every consumer has affordable data solutions.
Hope to see some great plans in future.

These plans are good only for casual WhatsApp users but nothing can beat WiFi. The speed also is satisfactory and at the same time, there is enough FUP for the uploads and downloads….

Hi Naser,
I completely agree with you. Wi-Fi is has spectacular speed and better
FUP as well. If consumers want to take advantage of WI-Fi everywhere
they go, they need to look forward for portable Wi-Fi hotspot device
like TP-Link TL-MR3020. This device allows you to plug-in your data
card and use Wi-Fi on the go. So, you can use your data card for PC
and Mobile.

Hi Vinay,
I would be extremely happy if Tata Docomo has unlimited Facebook and Twitter plans with this WhatsApp plan. Right now, they haven’t got the idea to do so. May be they can make us happy in near future. Tata Docomo has good call plans too. Moreover Reliance also has some exceptional plans. Do have a look at them as well.
If one user has a dual SIM phone, he can use Reliance’s data plan for WhatsApp and Tata Docomo for calls. This way it will be more economical for him.

A very good initiative from the Tata DoCoMo and few other service providers, this plan would be very beneficial for those who only uses limited internet data mainly for whatsapp and facebook.

Will Airtel come up with this kind of plan ever? It is the worst and the most costliest service. The net pack costs me Rs.125 for 1GB for 28 Days, that too the 2G speed.
