iPad is a smart gadget that helps users in performing a number of functions such as watching videos, listening to music, viewing images, playing games, using applications and so on. The use of iPad becomes increasingly common due to the applications loaded in it. Indeed, the growth in iPad apps development field has resulted in a number of exciting applications. Applications are being sold like hot cakes. Every application is unique and has something exceptional to offer to its users. Due to these factors, there is more demand for iPad apps development and the need to hire iPad apps developers’is also on the increase.
iPad developers create iPad app designs as per the requirements of their client based on the most appropriate orientation (i.e. horizontal or vertical) so that no matter how you hold the tablet its orientation will not have any effect on the display. For example, Instapaper is an award winning application that helps readers view interesting web pages on the go. No matter which position the iPad is held, it always keeps the column labeled folders. This makes it easier for users to select their chosen articles in a well-defined reading space.
The same applies to iPhone apps design. Designers should ensure that there are fewer instructions thereby minimizing the need for the help button or FAQ’s. An ideal design is that which does not leave users with any questions. Therefore, the aim of any application should be to enable users to navigate through the application with ease. iPad app designers should also minimize the need for any help by seamlessly guiding users through the application.

Ania, I also think that with app design, it is better to build native apps or at least apps that look native.
