Apple Delays Worldwide Sale Of iPad Until End Of May

IPAD UPDATE (2)

apple logoApple has announced that the long awaited worldwide release of the iPad tablet computer will be delayed by one month.  The device will now go on sale internationally at the end of May, while pre-orders will be accepted from 10 May.

The decision to delay the date when the iPad will be released globally is not unconnected with the unexpected success of the device which sold up to 300,000 units on its first of release in the United States.  As a result, the organisation expects demand for the tablet computer to continue to exceed supply over the next few weeks hence its current focus on the US. Consequently, consumers in other Countries such as Canada, UK, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, China and so on have to wait a little longer before they get their hands on the iPad.
