Are you thinking of planning a new kitchen? There is nothing to worry as you don’t have to go to the local home design or remodelling store and become clueless about the remodelling process. A few tools are available online that will help you to design a kitchen in 2D and transfer it to 3D. You can use the help of the 3D kitchen design programs for making the plan easy and simple. Some programs are geared towards architects and graphic designers, offering detailed measurements and features. They allow every aspect of the kitchen to be designed in detail. On the other hand, some programs are suitable for personal use, letting homeowners create a 3D image of model kitchen.
Let’s check out a few software programs for designing a kitchen in 3D:
1. Pro100
This is a powerful design program used by professional designers. It offers an accurate portrayal of how your kitchen will look. The software supports imperial or metric measurements while laying out the design of a room. The program takes up 200 MB space for the hard-drive.
2. DechTech

Even if this program is available in imperial or metric version, it is unable to do both.

This is another good and easy to use service that helps you to set up a dream kitchen with tables, appliances and countertops. It is useful for those who need a simple and quick way of looking at their concepts. You are only required to visit the Floor Planner website and register an account for a free trial. Select ‘My First Project’ to take you to a grid template where you could design your 3D kitchen. Choose the ‘Doors and Windows’ option from the drop down list for adding doors and windows to your new kitchen. You could make the selection from balconies, French doors, pocket doors, standard windows and roof. After completing the project, click on the ‘3D’ button at the top right and you will be automatically taken to a 3D rendering of the kitchen.
6. Turbo CAD Floor Plan
This is almost similar to the Floor Planner method. Here you could add doors, lighting, windows, appliances, tables and even the art of customising your kitchen floor plan. You could then choose the option ‘Tour and View’ for viewing your plan in 3D.
