  1. That will be cause for some of us to use the Social Authentication, because I may not remember all the names of some my friends off-head because we have been apart for a long time and we just meet on Facebook again.

  2. Great creative way to prevent spam. Personally i hate captha’s and other wierd types of spam prevention, so this is awesome.

It could be a problem for the dyslexic.

  3. Facebook is enough brave to do new experiments I like this new security strategy but the point is our close one knows almost every friend of us so its even not a big deal for my friend to recognize the face in the picture. As you said they still working on and making changes so may be they will make it more specific.

  4. I think the social authentication tool is a huge step Facebook has made when it comes to security. Showing you a some pictures of your friends or loved ones and then asking you to name the person that appears in those photos is a great idea.

However, I expect there is going to be some changes to this tool because I know there are going to be some things that don’t work as effectively as Facebook would have hoped. I still think it’s a great tool that should at least help to reduce the amount of security issues that is happening. Thanks for sharing.

  5. It’s a step in the right direction but I find it very inconvenient. I disabled my old Facebook account and went to recover it and it showed pictures of calendars and other photoshop created images and I was suppose to figure out who it was. Very difficult in my opinion.

  6. WOW! I haven’t heard about it before, but I do like it greatly! It is something new) Sometimes I have problems with CAPTCHA, because numbers or letters are completely illegible and it’s difficult to find out what is it. But I won’t have any problems with my friends’ photos, because I know their names and surnames for sure)) an excellent idea)
