Tips For Editing PDF Files – It’s Easier Than You Think

PDF (Portable Document Format) has become one of, if not the standard document format for file sharing across the Internet, different platforms and operating systems. PDF makes it a breeze to store and share data, and it’€™s also easy to edit and convert web page to PDF or other formats as shown in the following sections of this article.

Saving Web Pages as PDF

There are many ways of saving web pages as PDF but the simplest method is to make the conversion online as it will save you the trouble of downloading and installing a program. If you convert online, the process is easy to follow.

  1. Copy the URL of the web page you want to save.
  2. Paste the URL into your online converter.
  3. Save it as PDF and that’€™s it.

As you can see the process is very quick and won’€™t require you to download or install a program because the conversion is done online. After the conversion is complete, you just click “download€, open a PDF reader and you’€™ll be able to view the web page as a PDF file.

How to Combine Files to PDF

It’€™s also easy to combine several files into PDF online.

  1. Simply select the files you want to convert, either simultaneously or one at a time. The selection process is straightforward, and after you have selected the files, click €œopen€.
  2. Arrange the files in the order you want and click €˜start€. Now you just need to wait for the conversion to finish. The process usually takes only a few seconds, although it might take a bit more time if you’re combining a lot of files.

You can also combine into PDF different file formats such JPG, Excel, or Word, and it’€™s easy to do even if they are in different folders.

  1. Click Combine files to PDF.
  2. Choose a file that you want to convert. After it’s been opened, click €œAdd Files€ and add all the files that you want to combine.
  3. Once you’€™ve selected all the files click €œStart€ and the conversion will commence. After combining is complete, click €œdownload and you’€™ll be able to save your document in your hard disk.

How to Save PDF to Word

This once tedious process is now easily done online. If you have a PDF document that you want to save into Word format for editing, follow these steps.

  1. Once you’€™re at the online conversion site, open the PDF file that you want to convert.

  3. After the conversion is complete is complete, download the files. You should be able to open them in Word.

How to Convert PDF to JPG

The process is similar to the ones you use to save PDF files as Word except this time you’€™re saving the files into an image format.

  1. From the conversion options click Select€ and add the file you want to convert. Click €œadd files€ if you want to add any more.
  2. After you have added all the files, click convert€. After all the PDF files have been converted into JPGs, press €œdownload€.
  3. Open any picture viewer and go to the folder where you downloaded those JPGs. You’€™ll now be able to view them just like any image file.

It’s true the PDF format is very popular and widely used on the Internet and offices around the world. However there are times when it isn’€™t practical. Suppose you have this PDF document you really need a colleague to see but they don’€™t have a PDF viewer installed.

Downloading and installing a PDF viewer takes time, not including the fact that the user isn’€™t familiar with the way these viewers work. By saving the file as JPG all these inconveniences will be overcome.

The same thing can be when you convert web page to PDF. If you use a browser to save the web page there’s no guarantee that it can be opened by another browser. And even it could, the images and formatting will all be out of place, but that won’€™t be a problem if the file is in PDF format.
