East area Singapore is an interesting place filled with activities that you can do with friends and family. This area of Singapore is known for its restaurants, hawker centers, and eateries. But it also has its share of attractions for people of all ages. Check these places out for a fun time in East Singapore.
Be a construction worker
If you’re looking for fun things to do in east area Singapore for kids, then you should check out Diggersite. If your kid is a big fan of Bob The Builder, then he or she will definitely go nuts in this place. This is a play construction site that is located in Raintree Cove. And the best thing about this place is that it has real working wrecking balls, excavators, and a claw digger. This place is not only for kids. So if you’ve ever dreamed of working on a construction site, then this is your chance to fulfill that dream.
Shop for some retro stuff
If you’re in the mood to shop for some retro stuff then the best place for you to go to is the Red Cross thrift store. You’ll find a lot of cool pieces here. The best part about thrift store shopping is that it allows you to find unique pieces that are hard to find elsewhere. And if you know your stuff, then you can find hidden treasures in this place. This place is filled to the brim with clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. You can even find some home items and even rare CDs here. This is a place that provides a unique shopping experience in Singapore.
Ride a horse
Are you looking for a place where you can ride horses in a safe environment? There’s a place in the east area of Singapore for that. If you want to fulfill your equestrian dreams, then you should go to Gallop Stable Pasir Ris. It is actually the largest public horse-riding area in Singapore. You don’t have to be a member to ride a horse here. All you need to do is show up. The fees are also relatively affordable compared to other stables. If riding horses is not your thing, then you can just feed the ponies and take a tour of the stable.
Go on a treetop adventure
Are you a fan of American Ninja Warrior or similar shows? Then you can try the treetop course at Forest Adventure. This is something that families can do because the obstacle course is safe and easy enough for children to try. This is probably not for those who are scared of heights. The course will require you to cross hanging bridges and jump from one elevated area to another. There’s also a 200-meter zip line that will take you across Bedok Reservoir. This is also a good place to go if you’re looking for an alternative way to burn some calories. But this may not be an ideal place to go on a first date unless you’re willing to get embarrassed.
