Apple has launched the second version of the iPad – the iPad 2. The new iPad device was today unveiled by Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, who returned from a brief medical leave of absence. The iPad 2 is another step forward for Apple as most competitors such as HP, Motorola and RIM are only just releasing the first versions of their tablet devices.
The iPad 2, which comes in two colours (black and white) is considerably thinner (8.8mm thick), faster and comes with 9.7-inch screen (as the original iPad). Also, it will be twice as fast as the original tablet device with nine times quicker graphics functionalities and cameras (front and back-facing) for video recording and chatting.
Furthermore, the iPad 2’s aluminium shell cover will be replaced with a lighter carbon fibre version. Already, some excited Apple fans cannot wait to replace their original iPad device with the new iPad2 tablet whose sale is expected to commence soon in stores around the world.

In your summary above it says that Flash Support is Present. Unfortunately I am pretty sure that is not true… Flash is the only thing missing from an otherwise great device. I wouldn’t buy one until it has Flash.

That’s actually in relation to its flash storage that lets users access data quickly. Thanks for your observation.

Here comes the Apple again. I am impressed by its features, i am sure ipad 2 is going get a hold on the top of all technology digits. This machine is a lethal piece of tablet. It is covering almost every thing which was missing in iPad like the camera thing was not available before.

The iPad 2 sounds like a great tablet device. I was actually thinking about getting Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, but I think I will just go ahead and get the iPad 2 since they just released it. I like the fact that it’s thinner and lighter than the original version.
I think the Apple’s iPad 2 will be a success depending on the price for it. Thanks for the update, I was waiting on the release of this device.

Launch of ipad 2 by Steve Jobs was far more inspirational than anything else because one can see the amount commitment a person can have toward his work inspite of being terminally ill with cancer.

I think the iPad2 will launch very well in countries as there are always sheeples that would line up just to get the latest product. From the video preview, the need cover seems innovative. Apart from that, being two times faster, i guess price slashes are going down for the first version of the ipad. Thumbs up to apple as always. Launch dates seem to be effective for them in general.
