REVEALED: European Countries With Highest Computer Virus Infections

computervirusStats released by the European Union statistics office, to mark Internet Safety Day, has shown that a third of Internet users within the union have been exposed to a computer virus even when some have security software installed. The results of the 2010 survey of 30 countries which sampled over 200,000 computer users in Europe revealed that the situation was worse in Bulgaria and Hungary while Austria and Ireland showed the best results. In addition, the figures also revealed that around 3% of Internet users in Europe lost money to online attacks such as phishing. Latvia recorded the highest percentage of victims to such attacks with 8%, followed by the UK with 7% and Malta & Austria with 5% each. Although, not many people actually know when their computers have been infected however, security measures still remain the same. Ensure that your security or anti-virus system are up-to-date and always run regular PC scans. Also, ignore emails from sources that are either unknown to you or if you have doubts. More details on the Eurostat results are shown below;

    These are figures of the research are looking Strangely. Most people think that the virus is only the virus which never see any country specific or any particular geographical region. Mostly the developing countries face these kind of dangerous virus attacks.
