OSRS Mobile Giant Mole Guide: How to Kill the Mole

The article describes how you should price a stack of PoE orbs on a certain site. Despite the game’s lack of a monetary currency system, players have found a way to barter with each other using these common items.

Do not fear the Giant Mole in OSRS Mobile. It may seem like an intimidating creature at level 230, but with the proper equipment and the knowledge you’ll be getting from this guide, we dare say anyone can slay it and promptly lay it to rest! Killing the Giant Mole can earn you your fair share of OSRS Gold, and you can even gain more depending on your speed and luck. With our OSRS Giant Mole Guide, we’ll show you some tips when hunting this mid-level boss and how to prepare for it.

What is the Giant Mole?

The Giant Mole is a mid-level mole boss found in the caves under Falador Park. The Giant Mole is possibly one of the easiest bosses in Old School RuneScape to date. Other than chasing the Mole around the caves as it burrows, there aren’t any more advanced mechanics than that. The main reason players kill the Giant Mole (most notably Ironmen) is to gather Mole Skins and Mole Claws, which can be traded to Wyson the gardener in Falador Park for Birds nests. Bird nests are always in demand because they’re the secondary Herblore ingredient to make Saradomin brews. As bird nests are quite difficult to get by through other methods, the Giant Mole is the fastest and most popular way in RuneScape, making it a great mid-level boss to farm up, on.

How to Find the Giant Mole

The Giant Mole can be found by using a spade on the mole holes in Falador Garden. The mole lair is a rather dark place, so you will need to bring a light source with you. A bullseye lantern should be your first choice when it comes to that, as you save inventory space with, but a candle or a tinderbox will work just as well. The Giant Mole tends to respawn in the middle of the large center area of the dungeon.

Gearing Up

While there are no requirements to kill the Giant Mole, we highly recommend adventurers like yourself to complete the Falador Hard Diary beforehand. To take on the mole, we also have stats that we recommend you should have. The Giant Mole has high defense against Magic and Range, so it’s best to go on Melee.

Requirements:

70 Attack & Strength/Range

45 Defense (Or 70+ with good armor without Prayer)

43 Prayer

50 Agility (Useful for exploring the caves)

When it comes to facing the Giant Mole, patience is the most important thing. It can sometimes take up to 10 minutes to find it after it has burrowed into the ground. Thankfully, the fight against the Giant Mole is an easy one–just use the Dharok method. With the Dharok method, you’ll need to wear Dharok the Wretched’s equipment with low Hitpoints to utilize its set effect of higher damage at lower hitpoints. Use your Dwarven Rock Cake to bring your HP down to 1 to maximize your damage out. But keep in mind that when camping low hitpoints the Giant Mole can easily kill you, so the prayer “Protect from Melee” should be enabled.

Have the lightest inventory possible, just less than 1kg. Since you need to do a lot of running, a light inventory with some energy potions and an agility level of 50+ is recommended. It may also be beneficial for you to bring teleport runes if you’re at a much lower level, but if you’re a high-level player, you should be alright by simply operating your jewelry right from your stats menu to change items to whatever you prefer.

Rewards

The average loot per kill of the Giant Mole is 19,599 OSRS Gold. Most of the loot, namely 80.9% of it comes from the mole claws and moleskins. Giving these mole parts to Wysonin exchange for bird nests makes it profitable; however, due to the constantly changing prices on the Grand Exchange, the price will dwindle. Luckily, since bird nests are continuously in high demand for people who are into Herblore, it’s an item that’ll never go super cheap.
