Nokia Lumia 920 is certainly the unparalleled Windows based Smartphone, from the Nokia line of family. One of the drawbacks of this star model, however, is it’s weight and thickness. Nokia 920 is a little bulky, and robust, so Lumia 925 sports 50 grams lesser weight, and 2 mm less in thickness to address this problem.
In addition, the 925 model is no longer equipped with wireless charging capability, intended to cut down its weight. This isn’t a major drawback for me because wireless charging isn’t a vital feature in my opinion.
Design
This is the first member of the Lumia Series to sport an intuitive, stunning metal body. The back pane is carved in polycarbonate, and is available in white, gray or black color alternatives. Curiously, its aluminum body acts as antenna, which was first envisioned in the iPhone.
The overall design is unparalleled, and definitely worth the best looking smartphone of the year award.
Features
Nokia Lumia 925 comes with Nokia’s exclusive applications such as the location tracking service and integrated GPS navigation system, and Nokia Music with Mix Radio compatibility (that allows unlimited streaming of free music). These are in addition to a wide range of already existing services provided by Nokia. Furthermore, the 925 provides top-notch Windows 8 user experience.
