I am totally excited by IoT and 5G, but that’s because I have built a career in these areas for decades now, and live on the bleeding edge, as they say. However, having taken a step away from that to help an off-line company build their first digital platform, I would now always add some caution – building mobile apps with cutting edge, let alone bleeding edge technology is risky. Get the basics right, then test the latests/greatest as it reaches some level of maturity. Just my two cents worth of hard earned experience 😁
Good point Scott. I just read an article on IOT connectivity and it got me thinking about an app. I was getting carried away with some cool features, but I think what you’re saying here is get the basics right then iterate and improve. Interesting.
