High Fad for iPads

In this time, we scream and are engrossed in fads not limited to dresses and/or outfits, but also with the newest trend in the gadgets’ industry. For you to be an ultimate techie, you should be aware of the latest devices out in the market. Go and get a grab of them on RingCentral for the more detailed specs, but let me indulge you with even just the tiny bits of the fad for iPads.

What and Why

In order for us to be with it, we should know about it. The following are the top grossing tablets available in shops. Get a dose of them, and who knows, you’ll be or you already are a part of the trendy society!

  • Apple iPad – being the first in line to produce and introduce a tablet, still, the Apple iPad has been the top grosser for 2012 in $22.9 million. No wonder why this tablet becomes much of a need for gadget lovers is because of its one of a kind features, such as the Retina Display with 2048×1536, 3.1 million pixels, new A6X chip for faster speed, 5 MP iSight camera with 1080p video capture, 10 hour battery life, 128GB storage. Also available in classic colors to choose from.
  • Samsung Galaxy – standing next from Apple, and has been a threat to it, is the $7.9 million grosser in the said year, the Samsung Galaxy. Its features are its 7.0 inch screen display, 4000mAh battery, 780 hours standby time, 16 GB internal storage, external storage up to 32 GB, 640 MB RAM, Android 2.2 Froyo version, 3.0 MP camera.
  • Amazon Kindle – a best choice for avid readers with its $6 million gross last year. It uses an ink screen so you would have a feel that you are reading from real paper, it has no glare like the other tablets, it weighs 6 ounces so it somehow is lighter than a paperback you often read, it is easy on the eyes you will not have to adjust on its brightness but the other way around, has lower power consumption so you can continuously use the battery for a month with a single charge.
  • Google Nexus 7 – thin, light, and portable, that is the $3.1 million seller tablet for 2012. Its amazing features that brought itself to stardom are its 7 inch screen display, 32 GB of storage, ability to connect with mobile data networks, built by ASUS and has 3 quad-core processor, 1280×800 high resolution display for gaming and other activities, with top sensors like gyroscope and accelerometer, 8 hours of HD video playback, 8 hours of web browsing and e-reading, 300 hours standby time, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version. Nexus 7 was made for Google play.
  • Barnes & Noble Nook HD – this specialized e-reader tablet by Barnes & Noble sold a whopping $1 million amount of the Nook HD. Why this is a haven for bookworms, readers and techies could enjoy this tab for its 7 inch IPS display with 1440×900 high resolution, 8 GB internal storage expandable up to 16-32 GB through microSD, 10.5 hour battery life, Android 4.0 based tablet. Numerous numbers of electronic books that you love can be saved here and be easily enjoyed reading.

There have been many ways to be cool and funky; we often think it is by getting on with the trend. There really is nothing wrong with that, but be sure we put quality and class along with it. Besides, we cannot alienate ourselves easily from these, so long if one can do afford, well, as they say, ‘if we can’t beat them, join ‘em!’

Samsung and the iPad seems to be the most popular tablets nowadays. But here in our country, only the people who has a money and social climbers use ipad. Other people are looking for a cheaper android alternative.
