Here are a few ways to earn money with blogging. Is blogging fun? Ironically, it is fun up until you have to do it. For example, if you were to have a think for five minutes, you could probably come up with two or three subjects that you know really well. At least one of them will be on a subject that will be fun to write about. You could probably dig deep and tell the world a bunch of things they don’t know already. It would be fun, and at the end, you would have a great blog post. It stops being fun if you have to do it every week, so that by week 13 you have run out of topic ideas and the will to live.
Here are some tips on how to make money whilst blogging, but for the sake of your sanity, you should drop with convention and do one of two things. You can break the rules and post a blog post whenever you like, instead of one every week. Or, you can write lots of blog posts in one day, and then upload one every week. What you should not do, is start blogging, force yourself to create a blog post every week, and turn something fun into work!
Add affiliate ads to your blog
You can do this quite easily if you sign up for an affiliate program. They will show you how to do it and make money by people clicking on your ads. You do not really need to do anything more once the adverts are set up. You just keep blogging and the advertisements run on their own. You then collect a few dollars at the end of the month.
Offer guest blogging services and links
At the bottom of every blog, tell people that you accept guest blogs and that people should contact you. When they contact you, you reply to them with an offer. They can either pay for a link from your next blog post, or they can hire you to write a blog post for them and link from that blog post.
Offer to write a review for online products
You sell yourself as a reviewer and contact people asking to pay you to write a good review for their product. The review then goes on your blog, along with a link to their website. The good thing is that the more people you have attending your website, then the more money you can charge for your reviews.
Try to gain sponsorship for your blog
There are sponsors out there but they are hard to find. Basically, they pay you a monthly wage for you to write your blog posts about the things that they want you to. You then link to their website(s). As you can imagine, these sponsors are not exactly advertising their sponsorship deals, but if you dig around (asking and nagging), you may be lucky enough to snag a sponsor and start earning a money for blogging. Being paid monthly is the longest you should wait for payment. Any longer than that, and you will probably never be paid.
