Are you having a tough time job-hunting? Well if you do, why not make job-hunting easy by using your very own phone? This way, you can save a lot of time and effort looking for potential employers. If you have your phone, there are various job finding applications you can try out. Here are some of them:
JobCompass
JobCompass is one of the best job finding applications you can try. What makes it different from other apps is that it has a special feature which enables users to look for potential employers with the aid of Google maps. If you’re already familiar with Google Maps, this will help you find jobs within your location. This is very ideal if you are considering transportation expenses.
JobFinder
JobFinder is one of the popular job finding apps for the iPhone. This app allows you to search for jobs which are available around your area and it also lets you access job listings generated from other websites. With this, you can save time looking for potential employers since you no longer have to check out sites one by one.
CareerBuilder
If you have your iPhone, why not also try CareerBuilder? This app enables users to easily find jobs just by typing keywords or other basic data. For example, if you want to find jobs within your proximity, you can simply key in the location you want. The beauty about this app is that you can simplify your search.
SnagaJob
Snagajob is also another very good app for the iPhone. Like other job finding apps, it also allows users to look for jobs available within your location. Another advantage is that you can easily retrieve the data you want so you can check it again later. It also enables users to apply for a job right away.
JobSearch Organizer
To make things better, JobSearch Organizer is another useful app which can help you organize the jobs you have applied for. This way, you can instantly check out which jobs you’ve already applied for.
These are some of the best job finding apps you can try out. Good luck job-hunting!

Careerbuilder has an app in the android market as well.
But it asks for access to your contacts, which is ridiculous.

JobCompass is definitely the best application to find a job. I have been able to find a good no. of job seekers through this. It doesn’t end here. I could find jobs very near to my place. The best thing about this software is I could use it in any of my phones unlike others which requires only an Apple phone.

I just love the JobFinder application on my iPhone. Its soo easy and convenient to use and locate a job available on any website. Now I dont have to log in again and again on different sites to check my application status or to find a job.

It’s a bit surprising to see soo many applications on phone which might help you search for a job on a run. With soo much shortage of time, these applications prove very useful when it comes to finding all the jobs near any particular area at once rather than surfing all job sites separately.

Haven’t really tried any of these software. In fact, I was completely unaware of these applications. Now I realize how much time I have been wasting trying to find a job and logging in and registering on different sites. Really appreciate you for sharing this information.

Yep craigslist does have a phone hap to help you find a job. Although I wonder how effective using these devices to look for jobs. Its almost as if your resume has to be in the clouds or hosted online. I know that www . rightfitresumes.com has free resume hosting but its not advertised.
