Heavy Rain – a PlayStation 3 game by Quantic Dream, that tells the story of four characters (Detective Scott Shelby, journalist Madison Paige, FBI agent Norman Jayden and concerned father Ethan Mars) caught up in the case of the Origami killer – was the biggest winner at this year’s video games British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ (Bafta) Video Games Awards (Baftas). Are you surprised by the achievements of Heavy Rain – written and directed by Quantic Dream’s chief executive, David De Gruttola?
It is great achievement for Heavy Rain, I wish him all the best and more to come.
To win a competition is moment of pride and to maintain this status once gain.
I’m not surprised at all to see BFBC 2 on that list as its the game I still play ALL the time.
I am happy for GOD OF WAR 111 that is a truly artistic game, at some places i was shocked to see the way they moved camera. Camera angles were awesome in the whole game. I am a bit sad for ‘Black ops’ i love this game but i am so disappointed to see it received only one award. I was hoping to see it as the best game of 2010.
Obviously Mass Effect 2 got in there.
Notice how Halo Reach didn’t make the cut? I loath that game!
I’m not a massive fan of Halo Reach either for some reason however, I know of friends who seem to enjoy playing it.
I am not amazed at all to find BFBC 2 on that list because it is the game that I play always. However, I think my friends will also enjoy playing it.

I definitely agree with your audio pick – BFBC2 is still my favorite to this day – waiting impatiently now for BF3. I love the way you can use 7.1 surround audio while playing and hear people coming behind you while still having some rad music in the background,
I love Bioware – The Mass Effect series has been such a uniquely built RPG that I still can’t stop playing Mass Effect 2 over and over again… Great list, I’m not so into the strategy based games but Civ V is one I do tolerate.
