There are several free android apps that a person could download free that has something to do with martial arts.
Impetus Interval Trainer:
The first app is Impetus Interval Trainer. The Impetus Interval Trainer is a timer that people can use when they are training. This app is going to allow a person to set up different intervals during their training. These intervals can include prep time before the round, the time you actually work, ans the rest and a cool down period.
Kingsoft Office:
The second app is Kingsoft Office. The Kingsoft Office app is where a person can keep up with all of the progress that they are making because they can log into the application while they are training. This means that a person can also take notes on the things that they are doing good or some of the things that they might need to improve on. This is because there is a word processor and a spreadsheet built into the application.
Martial Arts Score Keeper:
The third app is the Martial Arts Score Keeper. The Martial Arts Score Keeper is where a person can learn how to keep score on a variety of different martial arts fighting. These can include ae Kwon Do Sparring, Jiu Jitsu Gi, and the Ten Point Must System. All a person has to do is figure out what type of fighting that they are going to do and enter the names of the people who are going to be fighting.
Martial Arts Classics:
The fourth app is the Martial Arts Classics. The Martial Arts Classics is where people can read all of their popular classics about martial arts without having to tote around the books with them. This is because they are all built into the phone so a person can read those books no matter where they are. This can be a very part of a person’s training if they are reading about the type of fighting they want to do.
Kung Fu Sounds:
The fifth app is Kung Fu Sounds. The Kung Fu Sounds application is basically just for fun. It was a variety of different sounds that could happen while a person is fighting. Some of these sounds could include swishing sounds of punches and kicks missing their target, Bruce Lee-type shouts, the sound of bones breaking, and punches and kicks landing. There are about 20 different fighting sounds that come from a variety of different kung fu movies throughout the years.
Thank you Fernando for these apps! I guess I’ll use the first two, not for martial arts, but as my personal trainees.
I never imagined there will be applications for martial arts, and more surprising it comes on smartphone, so I believe these apps will be useful and easily to be used.
Android Apps has changed our working style, living style, exercise style even all those things which are direct related with us. Android Apps makes our life more easy but also it have made life busy and took more our time.
The Interval Trainer seems like something worth trying… I would like to see some more BJJ free apps.
I’ve always been interested in martial arts, I’ve just never had the opportunity or the disposition to join a class. I just might give these apps a look.
