Use this ultimate guide to understanding what is involved when creating Facebook Ads.

6 Secrets to Creating Ultimate Facebook Ads Everyone Needs to Use

  1. Choose an Editor

Facebook offers you 2 tools for creating the paid ad – the Power Editor and the Ads Manager. Consider the number of ads you plan on running simultaneously and the size of your company to choose the right one.

Ads Manager is best suited for most companies. However, the Power Editor will work best if you are a large advertiser looking for greater control over all your campaigns.

  1. Have a Goal

Like other social advertising networks, Facebook Ads is designed with your marketing object in mind.

Therefore, before you start out, ensure that you have an objective for the campaign. The objectives could include directing people to your site or increasing the attendance of precipitants at an event you will be hosting.

Additional ad options include but are not limited to:

  • page post engagements
  • page likes
  • click to website
  • website conversions
  • app installs
  • app engagement
  • event responses
  • offer claims
  • video views
  • local awareness
  1. Choose an Audience

To narrow your focus, Facebook Ads has targeting criteria and an audience definition gauge.  Anyone can use this tool from the get go in-order to come up with the potential number of people your ad will likely be reaching.

The targeting that has been built into the Facebook Ads system will allow you to choose between such options as:

  • location
  • age
  • gender
  • languages
  • relationship
  • education
  • work
  • financials
  • home
  • ethnic affinity
  • generation
  • parents
  • life events
  • interests
  • behaviors
  • connections

You can also choose a custom audience to target those people who are in your contact database, used your app/game, or who have visited those pages on your site when you make a site tracking pixel strategy.  The power that can be generated from Facebook ads to reach your exact target market is without question a force to be reckoned with when it comes to online marketing strategies.

  1. Set a Budget

  • schedule
  • optimization and pricing
  • delivery

This is where you will be able to choose how your Facebook Ad will look and how it will align with your original marketing objectives.

For instance, if you need to increase the number of clickthroughs to your website, you should set the Facebook Ad Manager to include the “click to website” option.

After making your choice, upload the creative assets you have on hand. Remember, there are certain design criteria’s that Facebook requires your adherence to while uploading these marketing assets.

You can also choose to boost a post. Making this choice will get Facebook Ads to present you with such ad options as page post engagements.

Therefore, after you have selected the ad type, your Facebook Ads Manager will ask you to choose how you would like your ad to be displayed. These options can include:

  • desktop news feed
  • mobile news feed
  • desktop right column
  1. Report Performance

After your Facebook Ads have been running for some time, you should check how they are doing. Use your marketing software or the Facebook Ads Manager to see and assess the results you are getting.
