Production of Buses at Workshops in Andhra Pradesh Under TDP Government

A Regional Workshop is located in Tirupati, and there are four Zonal Workshops, one at each of the four zonal headquarters in Vijayawada, Nellore, Kadapa, and Vizianagaram. The factory could produce any bus model offered by Ashok Leyland. An electric car development center with a futuristic conveyor line, a pilot assembly line, and prototype development will also be housed in the building. Officials previously stated that the new facility would ensure the company’s preparation for the introduction of the bus body code and fulfill the increased demand for ready-to-use, fully-built vehicles as well, enabling it to stay ahead of the curve. At this facility, the firm will also make electric automobiles. Moreover, the new facility is ideally situated to serve the needs of the Central Indian market, Eastern Indian market, as well as Southern Indian market.
