iTunes (a jukebox software that helps users add, organise, play and purchase digital media with its integrated online store on a computer or portable device), made history when Johnny Cash’s Guess Things Happen That Way became the billionth track to be sold and downloaded at its online store. According to Apple, the online store which was launched in 2003 now features over 12 million songs, over 55, 000 TV episodes and over 8,500 movies. Black Eyed Peas’ I Gotta Feeling was officially named the site’s most downloaded track. All except one (Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing) of the top 25 songs were released in the last five years.
