HTC, the mobile device manufacturing company located in China has been at the cutting edge of many of the major developments in this area including – most recently – the development of the celebrated Android Operating System for these devices, which is now considered the state of the art OS for mobiles. However past reputations can count for remarkably little in a field with such intense competition and rapid innovation as that of the mobile device industry, meaning that HTC is under the same pressure as all of its competitors to continue delivering the goods, in terms of quality build and design and top of the range specs on each new model, in order to meet the demands of the consumer.
One of the latest HTC mobile phones to be launched is the HTC One X, a phone with which the company will be hoping it can rediscover the success it enjoyed with its Desire model. It is clear that HTC has pulled out all the stops to make the One X a top mobile device, as it boasts an HD screen display, the best processor available and a real aesthetically attractive design, suggesting the company wishes to hit all the bases with this phone. The main selling point is undoubtedly the fact that this is the first HTC model to be running the acclaimed Ice Cream Sandwich Android Operating System, and this means that the interface on the One X – complete with Roboto font – is a real improvement on previous HTC models.
The design of the HTC One X is decidedly minimal, with just a volume switch located on the right side of the phone, a micro-USB slot on the left hand side and a power button on the top, but the overall large size of the handset may make it less appealing to women, as – with female users often having smaller hands – this can make it difficult to hold in the palm of the hand and access the button you want.

What I like about HTC One X, the phone that launched the quad-core race, is its polycarbonate unibody and the Beats Audio. Unfortunately, its wonderful polycarbonate unibody has two main flaws: non user replaceable battery and non expendable memory. Anyway, this is the king for the mobile devices market right now, so Hail to the King!
