You raise a valid point; sadly this is an aspect of many things. An example of this is the fact that a garage supplying an MOT for your car are most likely going to be the ones to fix any problems and charge you for it, so i guess they key is choosing a company you trust and that comes highly recommended.

What is it with the Iphone screens always breaking? I see so many people with at least a crack in their Iphone screen. Barely ever see it with other phones.

you have good points of how to avoid the over charges for the iphone repair, but as for me, the best solution is to get a new one as in a long run you can lose money on the repairing what is already old.

My iPhone screen was broken with just one accident fall on the floor.
I couldn’t be bothered, so I just went to apple store and fixed it with a fee of course 🙁
