At a particular point in time everyone – bloggers, webmasters, forums users – and so on will need to store or host our pictures somewhere. This is even more true because of the popularity of digital cameras today. This obvious need is what has led to the development of GalleryHosted – a free online photo hosting and sharing platform. GalleryHosted allows users to store original images and photographs on the Web through a wide range of functionalities. GalleryHosted is a an online photo-hosting platform new and original image hosting with a lot of useful functionalities. By uploading individual photos on its servers, users will be able to host and share up to 300 complete and browsable image galleries.
GalleryHosted galleries display photos in a browsable stylish carousel, complete with image preview and relatively easy access. Furthermore, it uses an image-pre-loading technology to avoid reloading Web pages with unnecessary delay particularly when photos are being viewed as a slide-show or in grid mode.
Perhaps GalleryHosted’s most interesting feature lies in the ability of users to download an entire photo gallery in a single click without the need for a premium account. Users also have the option of using/displaying customisable thumbnails of each gallery with a ‘Download’ button in any forum, blog or Website of choice. When it comes to uploading a gallery, there is no need to select picture by picture as images can be uploaded in bulks of 30 per time.
VERDICT: The bulk-upload functionality is very useful. The unlimited storage and bandwidth provision for tracking, organising and editing galleries with a free basic account could also be very handy.

GalleryHosted sounds like a great site for those who love to take pictures. I know my sister will love this because she is always snapping photos and I’m sure she needs somewhere to keep all her pics. Thanks for sharing, I will make sure she reads this post.
