Facebook allows users which can be businesses or individuals, to communicate with customers and ‘Fans’ through the creation and regular maintenance of an official Facebook Fan page. Many prefer to go through this route rather than creating a Facebook Group or sometimes Community page. Like many Facebook Fan page users, have you ever wondered how to invite your Friends to a Fan page on Facebook? It is now somewhat common knowledge that Facebook imposes restrictions on the number of Friends an individual can suggest a Fan page to. However, while such limits or restrictions may have been put in place, there is a popular Javascript hack doing rounds on the Internet that helps you select all your friends in one go, should you want to invite all at once to join any Facebook fan page of your choice (including this one).
The script:
javascript:elms=document.getElementById(‘friends’).getElementsByTagName(‘li’);for(var fid in elms){if(typeof elms[fid] === ‘object’){fs.click(elms[fid]);}}
To use the script, users have to visit the Fan page in question and click on Suggest to Friends. This displays a full thumb-nailed list of all your friends on Facebook from which you can select either a few or all the friends you wish to invite. If you decide to select all your Facebook Friends at once, then simply copy and paste the code into your address bar and press Enter which will auto-select all the Friends in your list. Depending on the number of friends you have on your list, this process might take a little waiting for the program to select everyone. Once all your friends have been selected, you can now Suggest/Invite (Send Invitations) them to join the Facebook Fan page in question.
While some users have reported that this program no longer works or crashes Web browsers, more often than not it is only just taking its time to load depending on your Internet speed and number of the Friends list. Not sure how long before it stops working though but it may be worth giving a try while it lasts!
