During this fermentation process, the wine takes on some of the colors of the grapes giving it a pink hue. The flavor of this wine ranges from dry to sweet and is available in a pale to dark pink color along with a lower level of tannin.

Dessert or sweet wine

Dessert or sweet wine is known for their character of sweetness with the occasion of serving with desserts after a meal. Whereas in some countries white sweet wine is served as an aperitif while the sweet red wine rinses their palate after. Moreover, sweet wines are categorized into Port, Tawny, Sherry, and many more categories.
