The development and improvement in security technology has greatly improved our lives. There are lots of gadgets for home security such as the video door bell, alarm system, and IP based security system. Among all of these security ideas, IP based surveillance is more secure and offers additional benefits such as remote viewing, notifications by email, etc. I have setup IP based surveillance systems using Axis IP cameras and Deskshare’s Security Monitor Pro.

Thanks for the comments fellows. @ Evie, No doubt that IP based surveillance systems are a great option and now that we are talking about these, we must not ignore analog surveillance cameras which are less expensive than IP cameras. Also, low light environments are better handled by these cameras.
