The retail version of Microsoft Office 2010 is now on sale, online and at stores all over the world. The new Microsoft Office suite comes in different formats and prices range from around £109 for students and £429 for professionals although many retail outlets are offering special discounts to consumers.
The software comes with the usual Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs which is also available in on the Internet for free (MS Office Web Apps) albeit with basic features. Web Apps went live in the UK last week and the ad-supported versions of its popular programs can be accessed from the top menu of your Windows Live account while Facebook users can also connect via this link. Finally, Microsoft says users on the trial or beta version of the Office 20010 suite can still use it until 31 October after which a full version or new trial will have to be installed.
I have heard very little about Office 2010, I wonder if Microsoft has not been marketing it and will pour it on now after the launch?

Microsoft is really pushing the web apps. I imagine that’s going to be the future of MS Office.

I think the most interesting thing about MS Office 2010 is in the use of cloud technology.
I’m going to go buy it! There are just too many enhancements to ignore.

I have never used MS Office 2010. I am regular user of Ms Office 2003.
You should try Office 2010, I think it is much easier to use once you get a hand of it.
We have lost a great offer of the trial version and now we have to wait for the next trial version. Really it is loss.
I’m sure this new release will offer some new interface and functionality. The basic functions will definitely be the same.
