If you have ever been woken up by smell of freshly made breakfast then you know that that way of waking up is one of the best ways possible. You don’t have to wake up due to your boring alarm sound on your mobile phone or alarm clock, but just one special breakfast smell. Now, that doesn’t have to be on rare occasions, today you can replace your alarm clock with interesting new application that uses smell like fruit, flowers or even bacon to wake you up. This is more enojyable way to begin a day and we think it will become a hit, because you won’t be in a bad mood every morning.
Oscar Mayer Institute has made one interesting branche called Oscar Mayer Institute For the Advancement of Bacon (OMIFAB) has recently came up with an alarm clock that replaces ordinary alarm sounds with the sound of frying bacon, but that isn’t the whole story. You can buy one small accesory for your smarthphone which can fill your room with the smell of fried bacon during that sound. This accesory hasn’t yet hit the market, but the sound of frying bacon your can download for free on iTunes App Store, for the owners of iOS gadgets. Americans have bacon and eggs for every breakfast and their love towards this dish is high and due to that love this application is made.
This isn’t the only application of this kind, but it is the most famous one. Last year in Japan was published a gadget similar to this one. It is a little spray you can attach to your smartphone and with one particular application you can connect your smartphone to that gadget. In this gadget you can insert a smell of fruit or flowers and you can connect it to anytihng you want, it doesn’t have to be an alarm clock. You can set it for incoming calls or something else. Every fragrance you can buy, you can use for 100 times and another filling costs about 5 dollars.
Sounds delicious, now who wouldn’t want to be woken up by this interesing gadget? Maybe in the future we will even have our best men’s cologne and perfumes in that gadget.

This opens up a new way of advertising. Restaurants now can send you the smell of your favorite dish instead of sending you texts of their latest specials. This insures that you won’t forget them and won’t keep stay away for long. I wonder how realistic the smells would be?
