The Nokia Lumia 920 is finally here and a lot is at stake for the Finnish based company. Nokia used to be the leader in mobile phones but the rise of the iPhone and Android phones have placed them at the back of the pack.
Now, Nokia is poised to regain some of its luster by staking their future with the success of Microsoft’s latest mobile phone operating system, the Windows Phone 8. As the flagship device of Nokia and the poster child (phone?) of Windows, there are a lot of expectations that have to be met.

Windows Phone 8
If you like Windows 8’s big bold but simple interface then it is best enjoyed in Nokia’s large and clear HD screen. The Nokia Lumia 920 sports an 8.7 MP shooter that uses the PureView algorithms that made the Nokia 808 PureView a great device to take pictures with. It also uses Carl Zeiss optics and springs for stabilizing images. Sure enough, the Lumia 920 takes great pictures and it pulls a lot of color from low-light shots. Videos taken are also crisp and smooth, especially with continuous focus turned on. The video quality is set at 720p HD but you can switch to 1080p.
