As YouTube celebrates its five year anniversary, it confirmed that the video streaming site now receives more than two billion hits a day. This is almost double the number of people who tune into America’s three prime time television stations combined. The figure is even more remarkable when you consider the fact that YouTube was only just celebrating reaching one billion hits per day seven months ago.
