Will Apple’s Fight Hurt iPhone 5 Release?

The Apple and Samsung patent battle has been going on for some time. With the jury just now beginning to deliberate, it will likely be some more time until a decision is made as to whether or not Samsung is guilty of an infringement. This lawsuit continues Apple’s apparent ride to dismantle all of it’s opponents chances of competing with them in the mobile market. With rumors mounting that the iPhone 5 is on the horizon, how will all of this affect the release of the highly anticipated gadget?

Why is this Necessary?

To start, we should look at why Apple is even finding all of these court battles necessary. They already have a stable product and command of the market, not to mention an extremely successful non-mobile market. It is reasonable to think that some consumers might get turned off by this kind of  pushing around in the market. Apple also does have a great reputation for making amazing products, so in the end it might not be an issue at all.

Will This Affect the New iPhone?

As with everything, time will really tell about the success of the new iPhone. There is of course no doubt that the hype around the iPhone is huge, and as with every iPhone release, the next version is immediately pondered upon. This is especially true about the iPhone 5, that was thought to be released instead of the iPhone 4Gs. This was much to the disappointment to many Apple fanatics, and only increased the appetite for the new release.

With all of that said it is likely to think that there will be no substantial hit to Apple when the iPhone is finally released. It is important to realize that the market and some consumers have voiced some displeasure over Apple’s seemingly lack of being satiated with their present valor in the market. Paying attention to customer feedback is important, but I suppose that Apple does know what they’re doing. They have just become the most valuable company in America, and they shouldn’t have too much to worry about when it comes time for their new gadgets. But every other company should think twice before trying to cut into Apple’s market.
