Ergonomic Office Chair Review: Hinomi H1 Pro

Hinomi is a new brand that specializes in ergonomic furniture. Despite only recently launching their offer for ergonomic office chairs in the UK, their products, especially the H1 Pro is already making a statement in the market.

Indeed, it rivals the other chairs in its category with its levels of adjustment and comfort. Distinct features include its eye-catching independent lumbar support and comfortable leg rest amongst others.

Without further ado, let’s look into these in a little more detail.

Key Features

  • Flexi-Lumbar support
  • Armrest mechanism
  • Retractable leg rest
  • Adjustable FusionMax3D headrest
  • Foldable design
  • Adjustable height, backrest, seat tilt, and seat depth

Setup

The Hinomi H1 Pro is easy to assemble. It takes us less than 20 minutes to complete the task. This could vary depending on a few factors; however, it should be pretty straightforward for most people.

Furthermore, the chair setup components include the following.

  1. The headrest
  2. The body
  3. The gas lift
  4. The base
  5. The wheels

If you have assembled a gaming chair before, Hinomi H1 Pro’s assembling is quite similar. First, start with the wheels. Next, slot the gas lift and position the chair on it. Lastly, and then attach the headrest.

Hinomi H1 Pro weighs about 25kg. But don’t fright, this ergonomic chair has wheels like a trolley to easily move the chair without scratching thus increasing flexibility.

Material

Unlike the PU leather chair, Hinomi H1 Pro is made of mesh material and a polyamide frame. The breathable material comes in handy, especially in the summer. It is non-sticky and very comfortable to sit on. No rattling or funny noises when you move around on it either.

In addition, the chair’s material comes in different colors including black, grey, coral red, ice green, gaming red, and gaming yellow.

Design

Hinomi H1 Pro focuses strongly on ergonomics. Indeed, it is designed to fit the backbone for comfort and to minimize fatigue. It also has lumbar support for lower back aches as mentioned in earlier paragraphs.

We have used several ergonomic chairs before and we can categorically say that for users with back pain, the lumbar support can be a game changer.

The seat can be adjusted for comfort. This is another one of its selling points. For example, the chair’s height can also be adjusted up and down. It can be tilted to an upright position or reclining position. The chair can also be folded over for storage or when not in use.

Furthermore, the seat is covered with breathable mesh with a waterfall-edge finish. That is, the material is tucked underneath the seat not finished by the sides to reduce/eliminate pressure to the side when sitting. It, therefore, has enough flex for better cushioning.

The armrests and headrest can be adjusted, too. While the armrests move in five directions namely:

  • Height up and down
  • Front and back
  • Side to side
  • Flip up and down
  • Swivel

Other Specifications

Hinomi H1 Pro comes packed with a lot of ergonomic features. Additional specifications include the Flexi-Lumbar backrest which can be adjusted up and down to provide accurate lumbar support.

There are two knobs behind the chair frame to adjust the pressure on the lower back. These can be adjusted to firm up further improving sitting posture and relieving back pain.

Similarly, the feet/leg rest can be retracted if you are tired of stretching them out. In one sentence, Hinomi H1 Pro can be adjusted for maximum comfort in a variety of ways.

Price

The current RRP Is £599.00 but you can get a discount via this website through this link.

Conclusion

Ergonomic chairs are chairs designed for comfort and to reduce tiredness. Hinomi H1 Pro is one of the best of these chairs available on the market based on our review. But despite being one of its strengths, the lumbar support does take some getting used to. A second concern is the chair’s base. This is made of plastic and can break easily if sat upon by an overweight person. Notwithstanding, the chairs are still very durable with a weight capacity of up to 136kg, and to top it off Hinomi offers up to 15 years of warranty compared to other more expensive brands like Herman Miller Aeron. Overall, this is still one of the best of its kind in the market and for the price, it provides a higher quality than most.
