Munnar

One of the most favourite destinations of Kerala, Munnar is like a green carpet with sprawling tea plantations across the city. Ponmudi

Ponmudi is a part of the Western Ghats mountain range in Kerala and this wonderful hill resort boasts of scenic splendours and natural beauty all over. The quaint and quiet Ponmudi offers that much needed break from your mundane city life, amidst lush greenery. Trekking and hiking are some of the favourite activities here. Even though Ponmudi is a small place, it has some interesting sightseeing options including Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary, Echo Point and Golden Valley. Idukki

Vagamon

This placid and pretty hill station lies in the Sahya Range of the Western Ghats in Idukki’s border with Kottayam District, 146 km from Kochi. The hill station is a trekker’s paradise, from nature trails to pilgrimages, the landscape lends itself to exploration. Not just the wonderful resorts and spice plantations, Vagamon is also home to a string of three hills where each one is dedicated to different religion. For instance, Murugan Mala is dedicated to Murugan, the son of Lord Shiva; Thangal Para is the hill at the top of which lies the mausoleum of Sheikh Fariduddin while the third one, Kurisumala is a Christian shrine.

Thekkady

One of the many gems in Kerala, Thekkady is synonymous with the famous Periyar National Park. The name Thekkady comes from thekku or teak trees while Periyar is

named after Periyar, or the Big River. You will love the soothing greenery and quietness of this pristine hill station once you are here.

Vythiri

Vythiri in Wayanad is an unassuming little town which is famous for its forest and plantation resorts. The USP of the place is the tree houses which merge completely with the forest environs. All the tourist attractions are situated within 40-km radius of the town and you can opt for a short walk to some of the local spots or take a cab to explore the place.
