Open in Protected View

The next feature is the Protect view. Whenever you open an existing document for the first time in MS Word in 2010. If you try to start editing immediately, then you will get to see that there is nothing happen. Even if you look closely, you will find that the Ribbon option is hidden.

Also, you will find a red box across the top of the document notifies you that you are in protected view. As well as it tells you the location of the file.
