A Guide to Select the Best Apple Watch Strap

Picking up the best Apple watch strap is the exemplary way to stratify your smartwatch.

Whether you have been holding an Apple iWatch for a while now, or you have bought the Watch Series 3, or you’re just looking to jam the shocking of an Apple Brand lover, Apple’s Smartwatch is vital for styling.

If the high pricing of Apple’s official bands was causing resistance for you, don’t fear. There is a variety of third-party Apple watch straps available for grabs, and they look the part yet being far cheaper than the official counterparts.

The Flexibility It Offers

The strap on the Apple watch is very easy to replace, and the choices of alternatives are huge, so browsing across the shopping websites for the best-suited Apple watch bands is not a bad idea, at all. Apple offers its own Series 1 and Series 2 straps, but the thing is; they are very very expensive. As astonishing as they are, there is no need to be too restricted to Apple’s range of replacement bands, regardless of how much you’ll have to spend.

Like placing your smartphone inside a case, replacing the strap on your Apple watch is the simplest way to give it an entirely new look, and it’s so easy to build up your collection that goes differently with every outfit you choose.

Pick the Right Band Size for Your Wrist

You’ve spent a couple of hours browsing at a wide variety of Apple watch strap and bands options, and now, you’ve narrowed the list down to just a couple of models. But did you pay attention towards it – The Size? You can use Apple’s Watch Sizing Guide here before you have a chance to try one on. In the coming section, I’m offering a few suggestions to help you come out which band size is right for you.

  1. I’m referencing Lory Gil’s method for getting your band size. At first, measure your wrist. Use a cloth tape measure and wrap your left wrist (if you are right-handed) or your right wrist in case you’re left-handed.
  2. The Apple watch has the settings to enable it to be used on whatever the wrist, although the positioning of the digital crown and accordingly, the side button will be reversed as per the orientation. So, you are allowed to prefer whichever wrist feels more comfortable for you.
  3. Most of the cloth tape measures are configured on inches unit, not millimeters; so you would want to convert your measurement. Mathematically, one inch comes out to be 25.4 mm, so if your wrist is six inches in circumference, multiply it by 25.4 to get the correct measurement – 152.4mm.

Don’t forget that not all Apple watch bands are available with every model and in every size. Let’s take the example of Classic Buckle – it is the only band that comes with sizes as small as 125 mm and it’s available with size up to 215 mm. A couple of bands are also available with very few casing sizes; like the Modern Buckle is compatible only with 28mm casings and the other one, Leather Loop is compatible only with 42mm casing models.

According to the MedlinePlus.GOV source, the average man’s wrist size is between 6.5 to 7.8 inches while the average women’s wrist is between 5.5 to 6.7 inches.  That’s a key chart which should be considered while looking at the band sizes.

The below section is a short snippet of what bands with which sizes are available with each casing:

Apple offers six kinds of bands for its Watch – sport band, leather loop, classic buckle, Milanese loop, modern buckle, and the link bracelet.

Conclusion:

Significantly, the more expensive or stylish your band is, the more snazzy your watch will be – and if you consider a band that is not a part of the bundle, you’ll have to buy it separately.
