World of Warcraft includes a lot of races and classes, the majority of whom are protagonists. These races belong either to the Alliance or the Horde. Every character which belongs to Alliance or Horde has its own faction that is determined by its race. This does not include Pandaren who can choose his own faction.

In World of Warcraft III, we find both Alliance and Horde fighting the Burning Legion and Scourge in Scourge’s great fortress named “Icecrown Citadel”. In World of Warcraft Cataclysm, “Hellscream” will be the new Warchief of Horde and Archdruid Malfurion Stormrage will be back from the Emerald Dream to lead the Night Elves. There will also be a new war conflict between Alliance and Horde introducing the 5th chapter named “Mists of Pandaria”.

In World of Warcraft: Legion, all heroes will be fighting the Burning Legion to discover the Pillars of Creation. These are the tools used by titans to build Azeroth. All heroes will want to reach the Pillars of Creation to close the gates of Sargeras Tomb. This will prevent demons to enter this world. In this game, you can play either “Player versus player” or “Player versus environment” mode.

The story plot

The story plot of the game is divided into four main parts. The first one revolves around the assaults and violations on the Blackwing Lair. The second is about the Rise of the Blood God. The third part goes around so many incidents at the gates of Ahn’Qiraj fortress. And finally, the last chapter tells the story of  Necropolis’ shadows.
