Resident Evil 7 Biohazard has just been launched and surely for the PS4, Xbox and PC gamers, this is the news that they have been waiting for. Resident Evil has never stayed behind in coming up with terrifying stories and characters and Capcom has promised that Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will not be any easier. On 18th January 2017, Microsoft confirmed that the game is a part of the Xbox Play Their Anywhere Initiative that means that if the game is downloaded on Xbox, it will be available to play on PC (Windows 10) and vice versa. This is the news that made the Xbox owners all excited right before the release of the game.

This news was not a deal breaker for many PC (Windows 10) gamers as they are equally excited for the game release. PS4 gamers get their perks as the game is compatible with the PS4 VR and you can play it in virtual reality that is if you can handle running around hiding from your enemies that are not even humans. Since the game is a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere Initiative people owning both consoles prefer buying the Xbox version as you can then play it on your PC as well, in addition to that, this feature is available only on the digital file if you buy it online and download it on one of the devices. The game updates on both devices smoothly and works just fine. The progress in your game saves effortlessly on both platforms effortlessly.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is believed to be 2017’s most horrifying game. It continues to live up to the gamer’s expectation by coming up with the same intense storyline that makes you wonder ‘who lives in a house like that?’ the exact question people have been asking since 1996 since the release of their first game. The Japanese franchise continues to be the most anticipated horror game that never fails to give you goose bumps and rethink whether to play it or not when you are alone at home. The story starts around from the scary mansion in Dulvey, Louisiana where the Bakers family awaits you. As soon as the trailer released, the fans new they have found everything within the game that they have long been waiting for and expected from Capcom. Capcom ensures the chills and scare will be experienced throughout the game.

Instead of going for a new storyline, the game, in fact, has the story from the beginning of the series which is way spookier than anticipated. The story is of a man Ethan Winters who is looking for his missing in action wife; he is an ordinary man unlike the S.T.A.R Team and is drawn towards the old spooky mansion. Ethan receives an email from his wife Mia, who has been missing since 3 years (Mia = MIA = Missing in action, coincidence? We don’t think so!). Mia asks Ethan to come find her in the Louisiana farms but when he gets there, she is nowhere to be found. Predictably enough he makes it to the house. In the mansion, nothing is normal, something is terribly wrong with the Baker family and it seems like the whole mansion is falling apart as you enter the gameplay.

From the first look of the mansion till the entering, you will not get a lot of opportunities to explore the outside of the house and comment because the gamer will in no time be entering the house. Since the start, Ethan struggles to hide from his enemies and from the twisted Bakers family. The Baker’s family, however, is not the only beings you will encounter the house. The gamer will experience asking who lives in a house like that throughout the gameplay. If you like the classic horror and the terror, you will love the game; you will have to make a lot of hard choices and tough decisions in the entire game. The question revolves around one thing, would you stay and deal with the terror and survive in a dark and horror mansion, or you will gather your things and run away? Throughout the game, crisp graphics and flawless character design will give you doubts between reality and animation. The game plan runs smooth and the graphics according to critics are no match with other games of the sort.

The Xbox Play Anywhere Initiative adds a lot of value to the gaming for RE7. You can easily switch between devices and enjoy and experience the game as it is meant to be. There are further perks and additions to the game like with every great game. The two additional DLC packs await gamers and  RE7 fans which will be available on all platforms starting from Feb 21st but PS4 can get a hold of them earlier on the Jan 31st. however, the available edition will be the first Pack that is VOL:1 “Banned Footage”. This includes two pieces of Banned Footage and is available in Deluxe pack as well as Season’s Pass. They can be purchased separately as well. The edition also includes a new mode: ‘bed room’, ‘Nightmare’ and ‘Extra mode: Ethan must Die’.

The ‘Banned Footage Vol.2’ includes two modes which will also be available around the same time (earlier for the PS4) and an extra mode. The Extra modes for both Volumes do not support PSVR, but you get you find what the Baker’s family used to be like before something happened to them and they ended up being not only strange and Zombie-like, they became killers. The game is available for ranging prices and packages for PS4, Xbox one and PC (Windows 10). But with the Xbox Play Anywhere feature it was supposed to be pricier for Xbox. The cheapest version is available on Amazon for PC and then the price rises for PS4 and Xbox gets to buy the game for the maximum price.
