With each addition to the S series, Samsung promises a unique design with durable build, every time. This time things are not the same, the S6 features an elegant metal and glass design giving it a premium look.

The camera being the most important feature along with it’s flash feature that has been redesigned with metallic accents adding a classy look to it.

In the S series, the earlier launched smartphone Galaxy S5’s performance has been ranked tremendous. The difference lies in terms of design and other features with slight variation. The S5 is a handset with plastic body along with a removable cover and gives a grip to your hands as well. While the Galaxy S6 is designed with metal chassis and is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 on both front and back.

In terms of its screen, the difference lies in resolution only. as S5 has a 5.1” full HD display with 1080*1920p and S6 has a 1440*2560p while both use Super AMOLED screen. Another feature where most smartphones differ, is the software on which they function. S5 runs on Android KitKat and S6 comes with Lollipop.

Furthermore, the S6’s battery is reduced to 2550mAh when compared to Samsung Galaxy S5 as it comes with a 2800mAh battery. In terms of sales of both smartphones, S5 models jumped to 65%  in an e-commerce website with its Average Selling Price rising to 30%.

After Samsung Galaxy S5, another contender in the list is the Galaxy Note 4. Both S6 and Note 4 are equal in terms of performance. Even the S6’s screen has been scaled down to 20% when compared to Note 4. Both S6 and Note 4 have the best OLED displays with ultimate display technology.

In terms of looks and design, S6 is better than Note 4, as it is more slim and easy to handle. If we consider specs, then it is definitely a winner. For a phablet experience go for Note 4.
