Enjoy Automated WiFi Usage With Windows Phone 8.1

WindowsPhone8.1

Using wifi on your mobile is not a new experience any more. There are a number of smartphones and windows phones, which offer best-in-class features, including the opportunity to use the internet. However, there are a number of companies, which are still researching on the subject and are coming up with new kinds of tools. The objective is to provide some world-class solutions for accessing the internet and, at the same time, enhance user experience. An enchanting example for the same is the Windows Phone 8.1.

Automated Wifi Experience with Windows Phone 8.1

The experience of using wifi with the help of your smartphone takes a new shape with Windows Phone 8.1. Never before has the wifi process been so automated as it has become with this outstanding device. This smartphone has a feature called Wifi Sense, which acts in a way just as the name suggests. It can come in handy when you are not able to connect your phone to the internet or disconnect it from the same. It is this feature, which can sense the presence of wifi within any range of the phone.

Remain Connected to the Internet

Wifi Sense is expected to come in extremely handy at the time when you need to get internet connections on your phone. Unlike using paid data, which can cost you a lot of money, you can always go for wifi connections. It is easy to connect and is also one of the best ways to go online. It is manufactured in a way that it can monitor your wifi usage and also help you in the same. No matter where you are, you can use this feature of Windows Phone 8.1 to remain connected to the internet whenever you want.

Share the Wifi Connection with Selected Address Book Contacts

It is always fun to share all technological features with your friends or family. Sharing the wifi connection you use is also going to be fun, provided the wifi hotspot offers excellent speed and connectivity. The phone from Windows offers this opportunity to its users. The option, ‘Share wifi networks I select’, is going to come in extremely handy when you want to divide the wifi experience with others. You can also select some of the specific users from the address book of your smartphone with whom you are going to share the wifi connection. They will be able to use the wifi connection without any problem. However, they will not be able to access your stored password, which will remain properly secured.

Set the Time to Turn on Wifi after a Few Hours

Whenever you are going out of your house, it is quite obvious that you are not likely to use the wifi connection for quite some time. Hence, you are not going to need to turn on the wifi settings of your house during the time you are outside. However, once you enter your house, you will need to put on the wifi connection once more. In many cases it has been observed that many a time the users forget to turn on the wifi connection and hence, get delayed in accessing the internet once more. This is where the Windows Phone 8.1 is expected to come in handy. It has the options, which allow you to set the time after which the wifi needs to be turned on.

Have Active Wifi When the Phone is in Standby Mode

One of the major problems faced by any smartphone user while remaining live on wifi is that it remains on only when the phone is in active mode. However, the wifi connection becomes inactive when the phone moves to the standby mode. Windows Phone 8.1 ensures that the wifi remains active even when the phone reaches the standby mode.

With the practice of accessing the internet from the smartphone increasing and getting easier with every passing day, Windows Phone 8.1 has, no doubt, brought about a revolution to the field. The type of wifi control it offers is previously unheard of and is likely to help the bespoke use of the internet through wifi in years to come.
