Inside Out: The Sennheiser RS 220 Review

If money isn’t a problem for you and you aren’t intimidated by lofty price tags, Sennheiser RS 220 with its larger than life persona and a grand MRP is a bet you should consider for your music listening experience. It’s intended for home use and perfect for those who want to listen to stuff lounging around the house and from multiple sources. And of course, without any hiccups, thanks to a range of up to 100 metres.

With a logical lay out, this Sennheiser device does considerably good for itself. RS 220 delivers music from a number of sources which in turn makes it rank pretty high on versatility. Be it direct output from a DVD or a Blu-ray player or your home theatre’s main output or your PC, this digital, wireless and binaural headphone will render flawless audio (even at high volumes). The headphone frees the user from the lock down of a cable pull and offers utmost flexibility.

Other remarkable features include sensitive controls, an LED indicator and noise cancelling attributes to complement the headphones’ impressive sound and balanced style.

Doing the Sennheiser RS 220 review, one has hardly anything negative to say about it saving the fact that the plastic body could have been substituted for the glossy black plastic by a wooden one for a classier look. But sporting an all black cover and a heavy deign, this over the ear device is reasonably light and sure to bowl you over. Besides, the docking station is supplemented with rubber feet on the bottom for better grip. Wearing is also unquestionably comfortable, with padded cups and a plush and generous headband to boot.

The Phiaton PS 20 BT and Sony XBA-BT75 are excellent options too if you want to expand your search in this category but you may want to stick to this pair of Sennheiser wireless headphones because they are both in ear. So, the verdict is out and with an Editor’s Choice award in its kitty, Sennheiser RS 220 is money well spent.
