I own a Motorola Photon 4G. It’s awesome – the fastest smartphone I’ve ever used till now! For it’s price, I’d say it’s a great deal because multimedia is pretty smooth on it too.

Any of these smartphones will work perfectly fine with movies. If your looking for HD movies though, the Motorola Photon 4G comes equipped with full 1080p HD playback. It really depends on the quality of the content your downloading though.

Android’s the way to go. Maybe it’s just me, but I like it so much better than iPhone. Typical overrated Apple stuff. 🙂

Hey Jacob, great post!
I was not aware that in the U.S. you have to pay extra to get a good phone with a 2 year plan.
I’m from the Netherlands and only some exceptions you have to pay extra, like with the newest Iphone. This probably means that Dutch people get ripped off more on their contract costs, to pay for the phone 😛
