Manufacturers Design The Most Simple Mobile Phone In The World

Have you ever wondered what the world’s simplest mobile phone looks like? A mobile phone manufacturer in Holland has designed what has been hailed by many as the most simplest phone on the entire planet. John’s Phone was designed to carry out just one function i.e. make telephone calls. That means that users are unable to take photos, play games or send text messages as the device does not have a camera or indeed, a display screen.

The gadget, which can be purchased from 69.95 Euros, will target mobile phone users who want their phones to do nothing but make telephone calls. However, there are some potential drawbacks, the device can only record ten speed dial numbers, a limited number of ringtones, an old-fashioned paper and pen address book, concealed behind a flap at the rear end of the phone.

Apart from its simplicity and ease of use (domestically or internationally), advantages of John’s phone includes the fact that users do not have to sign up for a contract, it is unlocked, and has over 3 weeks standby time. It remains to be seen however, if the device will resonate with mobile phone consumers.

Still the cost of the phone is too much for Indian users ,you can get a basic phone out here for as low as 20$

I think the phone will do great with consumers if it is priced a lot cheaper than the mobile phones available today.

I also believe that parents who don’t want their kids driving and texting will fall in love with this phone.

It looks a little too big for me, but I’m sure someone out there will love it.

Wow, haven’t seen a phone like that in years. Kind of reminds me of the old “mobile” phones that use to come in a bag. Now those were simplistic phones.

Two years ago, I would have loved to have a phone like this. But once you’ve gotten used to a phone you can use as a clock, calculator, alarm clock, flashlight, and memorizes all your numbers for you to boot, it gets difficult to imagine going without those.

And yeah, that pad paper at the back where you actually have to write things down leaves much room for improvement.

But the biggest downer for me about this phone is the price. It costs more than the alarm clock/flashlight/calculator/phonebook phone I’m using right now! One would think a phone this stark would cost only about 15 euros!

70 euros for the sipliest phone? they are insane! It’s possible tobuy not a simple one for 15$! But the phone will be used for employers as a corporate phone. To decrease the expenses.

I think it would be great thing as an emergency phone when your smartphone would discharge but almost €70 it’s much to much for it…

The phones these days are so full of stuff that most people don’t use, so maybe this phone should have had more succes.
I did not know it before now though… But as Andy and Jane said, maybe a little bit to expensive!
