Have you ever thought of adding podcasting to one of the services you render as a blogger? In addition to the use of text and video, podcasting could be a resourceful tool for bloggers and an alternative source of Web traffic. The term podcasting refers to the distribution of compressed digital audio files over the Internet through means such as RSS Feeds. One of the many ways of implementing podcasting to a blog is through the use of Odiogo System.

The Odiogo System is compatible with all blog platforms that publish RSS feeds such as Typepad, Blogger, WordPress and Overblog.  It provides automatic text to voice conversion and ‘monetisation’ of content services, through advertisements, for bloggers who are interested in podcasting and its output can be listened to on a computer or downloaded on a mobile device such as an mp3 player, Apple iPod or mobile phone.

There is no need to install any software on your server as all processes are performed on the Odiogo platform. All you need to do is register and activate the service in order to sign-up. After activation, deploy Odiogo’s Listen Button feature on your Website by integrating Odiogo’s plugin/widget depending on your blog platform.

Podcasting is a really interesting prospect and Odiogo does it well particularly from my experience of trying it on WordPress. If you are interested in blog-podcasting, Odiogo is definitely worth a try.
