Google Announce Chrome Pact With Sony

The World’s leading Internet search engine has announced that a deal between Google and Sony personal computers that would see the latter supply Chrome (i.e. Google’s Internet browser) as its default/standard browser. The BBC reports that this deal, which is the first of its kind between Google and a PC manufacturer, is the beginning of many as Google tries to overtake Microsoft’s Internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox in the browser market.

With less than 3% of internet surfers using Chrome at the moment, it appears that Google still has some catching up to do.
