A genuine bag for genuine work, the Booq Cobra Brief is intended for the amazing professional and tech traveller. It offers the ultimate protection for those who navigate airports as often as offices. In case if you have to keep your laptop, tablet, Wi-Fi hotspot, mobile phone, documents and tickets all organized and easily accessible, the Cobra Brief is like a revolution, in spite of the fact that it comes at a premium. Lightweight, luxurious, secure, and stylish are just a few words that correctly describes this laptop bag.

Features

So what makes it so special? Trust me, I have had my fair share of laptop bags over the years but this fashionable, ultra-sleek laptop bag gives me comfort like no other. The Cobra Pack is neither too thin nor too light, and at 440 × 330 × 125 mm (exterior), 400 × 300 × 35 mm (interior) and 3.4 pounds it comfortably fits a 15″ MacBook Pro, and up to 16.4″ PC. Made from rigid and materials such as 1680 denier ballistic nylon, and weatherproof coating, as well as YKK zippers and top-grain leather trims, it has all the hallmarks of durability and longevity.

The materials used here are ravishing. Its all-dark colour blends well with the zippers which come with leather pulls; two of which are metal. Within the main pocket is a rich, orange-red soft lining with leather accents. The straps are effectively adjustable, and there’s a leather handle on top to carry the pack around easily.

Furthermore, the Booq Cobra Brief features so many pockets. On the front, there’s a document pocket with a tough, metal zipper for quick access to business cards or boarding passes. The zipper can feel somewhat rough on your hands when you’re reaching into the pack, but it’s durable. The main pocket contains a wraparound metal zipper. There are four sub-pockets inside of the pack: one close to the top that is ideal for batteries, Wi-Fi hotspots, or a camera; two pockets are at the bottom; and a thin pocket at the back that is mostly perfect for documents including notebooks and magazines.

The laptop compartment uses a sophisticated design for organisation and efficiency. Its padded and weatherproof texture keeps tablets and laptops scratch-free and ultimately well protected. The inside lining is made up of using 420 dernier nylon, so it’s really tough as well. The pack has a trolley pass-through strap on the back that fits luggage trolleys; so frequent travellers can pile the Cobra Brief on top of their bag and easily handle all their baggage. Likewise, the removable seatbelt nylon shoulder strap, especially designed for those on longer journeys.

Bottom Line

The Cobra Brief is one of Booq’s high-end laptop bag models that should appeal to you if you are a frequent traveller who has to carry a ton of gadgetry around. Considering its quality and level of performance when we tested it along with our experience of using other laptop bags, we are of no doubt that it offers great value for money.
