How To Solve External Hard Drive Dilemmas

The most common problem an external hard drive faces is the inability of a device to read it. A PC, laptop, TV, or even a DVD player not being able to recognize this device is really an irritating problem to deal with, especially if you have a lot of data saved on the external hard drive. This is so true whether you are using a regular USB connector to it or a Thunderbolt cable for Apple devices.

Oftentimes, a lot of people claim to know what to do with this dilemma and attempt to deal with this problem by themselves. However, this only causes the loss of pertinent files with no hope of recovery. It would be better to engage the services of a more experienced person who is well versed in computer technology. This may cost a lot of money but it would be worth it since saving files is top priority.

      Hi, Rohit,
As long as your PC can still read the drive, I think it’s strill good to go. You just have to reformat the drive. As you said, antivirus is not helping. I just hope you have back ups of the files you have there. 🙂
