A Bookstore In A Tablet: The Wonderful iBookstore

There is no reason why the iPad should not be the best tablet both online and offline today. There is no point however in discussing all the features of the iPad since everyone who is enthusiastic about the Apple product range  already know all there is to know about the iPad.

What should be showcased however is the power that the iPad gives to the traditional book reader. Tired of seeing OUT OF STOCK signs in book-selling sites? Still unsuccessful at getting that one book you have always wanted to lay your hands on but just couldn’t? The iBookstore is the perfect solution for all literature lovers out there.

1) What is the iBookstore? – The iBookstore is basically a virtual bookstore that allows readers to purchase any book they want to read, as long as they own an iPad or any Apple product that supports the feature. The iBookstore is a welcome change to all book lovers, considering the reduction in paperback publishing and the growth of online availability everywhere. More than 3 million books are currently available in the iBookstore, so there is more than enough to choose from.

2) How can you set up the iBookstore? – The iBookstore can be set up in iPads, although usually the product comes in-built with the iPad itself. Instead of surfing for hours and hours on the internet for their favorite novel or comic-book, iPad users just simply have to get an internet connection. They can then start going through the scores of ebooks available or search for a specific book or even purchase rare special editions in the iBookstore. The iBookstore already has deals set up with various publishing houses that provide popular titles as well as lesser-known titles for rates cheaper than the regular online books.

3) Why should I use the iBookstore? – The iBookstore not only categorizes fiction and non-fiction according to genre, popularity, bestselling lists and type, it allows users to block books and show only particular lists appropriate for a specific age group. This means that while adult users can get all the traditional fiction they want, children can also use the iBookstore in the iPad without being affected by the age inappropriate titles available in the store. Such a feature and the fact that almost all books available outside today are available in the iBookstore makes it an ideal reader platform for men, women and children alike.

4) Now what? – The iBookstore is fast replacing the typical Amazon Kindle and Android-based apps that allow reading of books. After all, it is definitely difficult to get a reader that is as attractive as the iPad at such a reasonable price. With facilities such as pre-orders and special deals being made available on iBookstore on a daily basis, it would be definitely hard for all e-book readers to not get the iPad in the long run.

So, what are you waiting for? Get rid of all the thick books and book shelves at home and get an iPad as soon as possible. The iBookstore, surely, is the new book house.

but now after coming the tablet, iphone, or android phones, the ebook option is really very good. now no need to go with a book but you can read any book any time on your tab or iphone.

Wow! This is a great application for a person owning an Apple product or I pad. Well, I guess it almost serves the same purpose as that of an E-book. However, there can be other differences that can prove very beneficial. Apple should have made it accessible to all the smartphone users.
